1. Who we are

ASRA (asrafamily.uz) is a parental control service. This policy explains what data the ASRA app and service collect, why the data is used and how it is deleted.

2. Data we collect

  • Parent phone number — used to sign in via an SMS code.
  • Child profile — name and age group.
  • Device information — model and battery status.
  • App usage statistics — which app was used and for how long.
  • Visited and blocked website domains, and search queries — collected through the Accessibility Service.
  • Titles of videos watched in the YouTube app — collected through the Accessibility Service, from the YouTube app only.
  • Location, and safe-zone (geofence) enter and exit events.
  • SOS events.
  • History of child requests and parent decisions.

3. Data we do not collect

  • The text of personal messages and chats.
  • Call recordings.
  • Contacts.
  • Photo and video gallery.
  • Passwords.

4. Accessibility Service disclosure

ASRA uses the Accessibility Service solely for parental control purposes: to detect search queries and YouTube video titles.

Data obtained this way is shown only to the linked parent. It is not shared with third parties and is not used for advertising.

5. How the data is used

The data is used to let a parent protect and monitor their child’s device. Rules on the child device work based on the parent’s consent and settings.

6. Storage and deletion

  • Data is stored on our servers and transmitted over HTTPS.
  • YouTube watch history is kept for 90 days.
  • All other data is kept while the account is active.
  • “Delete account” in the app deletes all data.

7. Third-party services

The following services are used only as technical intermediaries:

  • Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notification delivery.
  • Eskiz.uz — sending SMS codes.
  • Yandex MapKit — map display.
  • Telegram Bot API — optional notifications, only if the parent enables them.

Data is not sold and is not shared with advertising networks.

8. Children’s data

Data from the child device is processed only with parental consent, for parental control purposes.

9. Your rights

A parent can view the data in the app, manage their requests and delete the account together with all of its data. For questions, write to admin@asrafamily.uz.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy is updated, the changes will be published on this page.
